SUMMARY:How the Area Agency on Aging can Help Family Caregivers
DESCRIPTION:Special Guest Speakers: \nLaura Crews\, CIRS-A/D\, Director of Benefits Access \nJoan Marshall\, LMSW\, Service Navigator \n  \nSenior Resources is a strong non-profit voice for eastern Connecticut’s aging population and family caregivers\, serving the residents of Middlesex\, New London and Windham counties. Laura and Joan will review the various Family Caregiver support programs\, counseling and services available for free through Senior Resources. Through their involvement at the federal\, state and local level they work to enhance the quality of life for older persons. In addition to advocating legislatively\, our continuing work with volunteer and citizen groups increases public awareness of senior issues.
